No longer confined to dry, theoretical lessons, legal education and dissemination in schools today is being innovated through various engaging methods such as extracurricular activities, forums, thematic discussions, dramatizations, legal knowledge contests, integration into subjects, and experiential learning. Many schools also utilize social media, online portals, billboards, and posters to spread legal messages to students in a relatable and lively way.

One of the highlights was the 3rd "Initiatives to Ensure School Order and Prevent School Violence" competition in 2026, launched by the Department of Education and Training. The competition attracted enthusiastic participation from educational institutions across the province, with 249 entries at the provincial level across all three educational levels. Many initiatives were evaluated as highly practical, contributing to building a safe and friendly school environment and minimizing law-breaking behaviors among students.

Dao Thanh Ward: Launching the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign(DTO) On the morning of April 6th, the People's Committee of Dao Thanh Ward, in coordination with the Youth Union of Party agencies of Dong Thap province, organized the "Launch Ceremony of the Month of Action for Children and the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign" in 2026.

In addition, coordination between the Education sector and relevant authorities has been strengthened. The Department of Education and Training has closely collaborated with the Provincial Police to implement various models and activities to disseminate legal information on traffic safety, safe use of social media, drug prevention, and crime prevention in schools.

Notably, the safe driving skills training program for high school and vocational education students has been widely implemented. In the first six months of the year, more than 15,300 students from 33 high schools and vocational education institutions received safe driving skills training; more than 7,500 students aged 18 and over took driving tests according to regulations. This is not only an activity to equip students with traffic safety skills but also contributes to raising their awareness of law compliance from their time in school.

Simultaneously, the "Safe Social Media Use" model continues to be maintained in 76 educational institutions across the province. Through training courses, more than 5,700 administrators, teachers, and staff have been equipped with knowledge about cybersecurity, skills in identifying illegal activities in the digital space, and how to use social media safely and in accordance with regulations. In the context of students accessing the internet at an increasingly younger age, raising awareness of responsible digital citizenship is becoming an urgent requirement.

Ten contestants were awarded prizes at the "I Love My Homeland's Seas and Islands" competition in 2026.

Beyond just school-based awareness campaigns, Quang Ninh students also prioritize legal education related to maritime sovereignty and patriotic traditions. The "I Love My Homeland's Seas and Islands" competition, held both in-person and online, has helped students better understand Vietnam's Law of the Sea, the Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard, and the responsibilities of the younger generation in protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Despite the achievements, legal education and dissemination in schools still face some difficulties. Some educational institutions have not truly innovated the content and methods of their legal education; the application of digital technology in disseminating legal information remains limited. A segment of parents also do not pay sufficient attention to educating their children about the importance of complying with the law.

In the coming period, the Quang Ninh Education sector will continue to strongly innovate its legal awareness campaigns by increasing interaction and experiential learning, promoting the application of digital technology, and expanding effective models such as "Mock Trials," "Law Clubs," student forums, and dissemination through digital platforms. This is considered an important solution to build a safe and civilized educational environment, contributing to the training of young citizens with knowledge, responsibility, and a sense of respect for the law in the digital age.
