In recent days, when the weather was good, contractors of the Dien Chau (Nghe An) - Bai Vot ( Ha Tinh ) expressway project mobilized maximum human resources, machinery and equipment to speed up progress.
In mid-December 2023, the construction atmosphere of the Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway project was bustling and urgent.
At the intersection of National Highway 46B (in Hung Nguyen district), Hoa Hiep Company mobilized 5 road rollers, 4 excavators, 2 graders and dozens of vehicles to carry out the construction.
Nearby, at the Highway 46B overpass, dozens of officers, engineers, and workers of Hoa Hiep Company, along with many machines and equipment, are racing against time. “Five pillars have been constructed, and the remaining two pillars and two bridge abutments are still under construction. Except for rainy and windy days, the rest of the work will be done until 8:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.,” said an engineer.
“From the beginning, the company has informed all workers that this is a national key project, so everyone is aware of the importance of the project. As Tet approaches, the project is gradually being completed, making everyone more excited and determined,” a worker added.
At the construction site of Than Vu tunnel, Than Vu bridge 1 and 2, O O bridge, Hung Duc bridge... the atmosphere of labor competition is equally bustling and exciting. Contractors such as: Cienco4, Truong Son, Thai Yen, Dai Hiep... all mobilized maximum human resources and machinery to speed up progress.
“Currently, the unit has arranged 3 construction teams for Than Vu 2 bridge deck (in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An ), 1 girder casting team with a total of nearly 100 officers, engineers and workers. The average daily output is about 600 million VND,” said Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cong Thang, Deputy Director of Enterprise 283, Truong Son Corps.
To date, Enterprise 283 has achieved more than 83% of the plan. The unit is focusing on installing girders with 2 teams (one longitudinal team, one transverse team). According to the plan, by April 10, 2024, the girders will be installed, the bridge deck and railings will be completed.
In the section passing through Dien Chau district, Cienco 4 Group is undertaking the construction of nearly 2.3km. Up to now, the construction of crushed stone aggregate on the main route has reached nearly 70%; the construction of crushed stone aggregate reinforced with cement (CTB) has reached nearly 30% of the construction volume. It is expected that by December 31, 2023, the foundation layers will be completed.
Recently, this contractor has tested the first layers of hollow asphalt concrete on the route. It is expected that Cienco 4 will complete the paving of nearly 20,000 tons of hollow asphalt concrete by the end of January 2024.
At the Hung Duc bridge project (connecting Hung Nguyen, Nghe An with Duc Tho, Ha Tinh), items such as bored pile drilling, pouring concrete for piers, and casting beams are basically completed (reaching over 97% - 99%).
According to Phuc Thanh Hung Joint Stock Company (project enterprise), up to now, contractors have mobilized 101 construction teams with 853 machines and equipment and nearly 2,000 workers. The cumulative output is 5,357.0/5,561.8 billion VND, reaching 64.7% of the contract.
The project enterprise has disbursed VND 4,959.24 billion for the project. Of which, VGF capital is more than VND 2,135 billion, equity capital is more than VND 1,170 billion and loan capital is more than VND 1,653 billion.
Currently, there are still some difficulties and problems at the construction site, especially the 110KV power line in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district (Nghe An) where the site has not been cleared.
In the coming time, the project enterprise will focus on urging contractors to speed up the construction of points belonging to the project's critical paths: Xuan Duong 1 Bridge, Xuan Duong 2 Bridge, Than Vu 2 Bridge, Tham Vu Tunnel, and locations for earth filling and loading within the scope of weak ground treatment.
In addition, contractors are required to gather materials to construct the foundation with grade 1 crushed stone aggregate; submit material sources and mobilize the mixing station for the crushed stone aggregate layer reinforced with cement...
