As election day approaches, the schedule of Film Screening Team No. 1 is becoming increasingly packed. Mr. Ma Xuan Hoa, team leader of Film Screening Team No. 1, said: "Starting in January, we intensified our efforts to disseminate election information to villages in the area. On screening days, in addition to providing information about the screening schedule, we usually organize awareness campaigns for villagers in the area using mobile loudspeakers mounted on motorcycles, explaining election regulations, voting times, and voting rights and obligations so that people can understand and actively follow the process."
Similar to the first film screening team, other film screening teams are also actively carrying out mobile propaganda tasks before election day. According to Ms. Le Hai Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture , Sports and Tourism, in implementing the election propaganda plan, the department has directed its affiliated agencies and units to intensify propaganda in various forms. Specifically, it has directed the Provincial Cultural Center and the Provincial Ethnic Arts Troupe to organize activities to disseminate election laws, focusing on the Election Law and its implementing guidelines; and to compile news articles about the election to provide to mobile film screening teams for dissemination at the grassroots level.
From January to mid-February, film screening teams conducted over 130 legal awareness campaigns on elections, integrated with film screenings in remote villages, border areas, and 9 events in communes, serving approximately 20,000 viewers and listeners. They also conducted over 500 direct awareness campaigns. In addition, mobile campaigns were carried out to disseminate information about the list of electoral units and the number of representatives to be elected in each unit for the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.
In addition to showing films, after each session, team members also directly discussed and explained further to the villagers any remaining concerns about the election.
For many people, especially those living in remote villages, film screenings are also a community cultural activity, a time for people to gather together, watch, and discuss the content of the films as well as issues surrounding the election. Through this, people's awareness of the election is significantly raised.
Ms. Ha Thi Ban, from Va Quang village, Van Lang commune, shared: "Through the team's mobile loudspeaker system and the propaganda materials introduced at the film screening, we clearly understand that the election will take place on March 15, 2026. Each vote is not only a right but also a responsibility of the voter, reflecting the faith, trust, and expectations of the people in choosing outstanding representatives who are virtuous and talented enough to represent their will and aspirations."
It is evident that, along with the local public address systems, film screening teams have actively disseminated election information through mobile loudspeakers to a large number of people in remote and rural areas. From these quiet journeys, the important role of cultural and information work in bringing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies to the people is clearly visible. With the active involvement of all levels and sectors, election information has reached every village and every citizen in mountainous and border regions in diverse and vibrant ways, ensuring that each vote is truly a voluntary and responsible choice of the voters in the area.
