Provide information about the remote location.

In modern life, information technology makes it easy for people to access various forms of entertainment and different information channels. However, in many remote villages, mobile propaganda officers from the Provincial Cultural Center still quietly deliver current events, Party guidelines, State policies and laws, along with cultural performances to serve the people.

The musical and dance performances by the Mobile Propaganda Team of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center were close to the lives of the people in the highlands.

Culture guides the way.

Following the Mobile Propaganda Team of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center, we arrived at Na Nay village, Na Phac commune. The team's propaganda location was the village's market area. As soon as the vehicle arrived at the market square, the team members busied themselves transporting equipment, setting up the stage, installing speakers and lighting, and arranging tables and chairs. There was no grand stage, no dazzling screen, just banners, motivational songs, and pre-prepared propaganda information to deliver to the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Head of the Mobile Propaganda Team, shared: "This time we organized the propaganda session at a covered location in the market area, which was very convenient because we didn't have to worry about rain. Sometimes when we go to villages to do propaganda, we have to set up a stage in the yard of the village cultural center or in people's houses, and if it rains, the program has to stop. We do propaganda in batches, each lasting about 10 days. Because we frequently have to travel to difficult areas, our luggage is light, with the most important things being performance costumes, props, and makeup."

Currently, the Provincial Cultural Center has a propaganda team responsible for performing and disseminating information to remote areas in the northern part of the province. The team consists of only 10 people, but they have a lot of work to do. Some members are both actors and singers, performing and also handling tasks such as stage setup, prop preparation, and sound and lighting adjustments.

While the male propagandists handled the heavier tasks like carrying equipment and setting up the stage, the female propagandists took advantage of the opportunity to spread out seats on the ground behind the stage to apply makeup. Without needing large mirrors or ample lighting, they performed their work comfortably and cheerfully, having become accustomed to the challenging working conditions in remote areas.

While the propaganda team was still busy preparing the stage, sound system, and props, many local residents had arrived very early. They brought chairs, chose the most convenient seats, and eagerly awaited the performance.

Bui Duy Phung, a member of the Mobile Propaganda Team, shared: "Mobile propaganda work isn't always easy. But the anticipation of the people at these propaganda sessions is what motivates the propagandists to perform with more enthusiasm and dedication. Every time we perform, seeing the people applaud and laugh at our skits and performances makes all the difficulties seem to disappear."

A bridge of information between the Party and the people.

Propaganda through theatrical performances helps people remember and understand more easily.

Propaganda through theatrical performances helps people remember and understand more easily.

A public awareness campaign by the Mobile Propaganda Team will combine oral presentations, music and dance performances, and theatrical skits. Besides musical performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the homeland, there will also be performances of traditional folk songs, zither music, and songs with a strong cultural identity of the highlands. This creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, earning the people's appreciation and affection.

In addition, oral propaganda content and theatrical skits are edited and developed to suit each period, closely adhering to current events and relating to issues of daily life, such as: traffic safety; prevention and control of domestic violence and consanguineous marriage; policies and guidelines of the Party and State...

Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung, from Na Nay village, Na Phac commune, shared: "The officers of the Mobile Propaganda Team performed very well and enthusiastically for the people. They disseminated a lot of new information from the province and the State to the people in a very practical way."

It can be said that, despite the strong development of information technology, mobile propaganda remains a unique and distinctive form of communication, capable of effectively reaching all segments of the population, especially in remote and rural areas.

Beyond simply conveying information, mobile propaganda performances also provide people with moments of relaxation through elaborately staged skits that are relatable, bring laughter, and offer profound lessons.

Mr. Lam Ngoc Du, Director of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center, shared: "To achieve effectiveness in information and propaganda work, the unit regularly stays close to the grassroots, monitors the situation, and develops propaganda content that is realistic, flexible, rich, attractive, and suitable to the cultural identity of the ethnic groups. The Center's Mobile Propaganda Team also regularly participates in exchanges and learns from experiences of other provinces. In 2025, the Center participated in the National Mobile Propaganda Competition, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. As a result, the team won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals."
