VnExpressVnExpress27/06/2023

Go-Kart racing is a competition organized by Lac Hong University on the morning of June 27 at Dai Nam racetrack (Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong ). A playground for third-year students who are passionate about making their own racing cars.

This is the second time the competition has been held, with 17 teams participating. Each team can register up to 15 members. The school provides a gasoline generator engine, with a cylinder capacity of about 150 cm3, a capacity of 5 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 7.5 Nm. The other parts of the student car must be self-made to participate in the race.

According to Dr. Hoang Ngoc Tan, Head of Automotive Engineering, Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, the playground helps students practice and experience making cars, as well as improve soft skills such as working and dividing roles for each group member. "The playground helps students improve their skills and apply knowledge to practice better," said Dr. Tan.
