The book streets of Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City are bustling with book fair activities, showcasing many titles on history, revolution, culture, and resistance literature, with the participation of major publishing houses.
On this occasion, Fahasa also decorated its entire bookstore system with the dominant red and yellow colors, recreating the heroic and sacred atmosphere of Independence Day.
Nearly 100 books on history and revolution are on display.
In early August, Ho Chi Minh City's Book Street was adorned with a vibrant display of red flags with yellow stars. Strings of flags stretched across the street beneath rows of tamarind trees, along with archways, banners, standees, and display and photo-taking corners at each booth, created a lively festive atmosphere, allowing readers and tourists to share in the nationwide joy.
Previously, from August 19th to 25th, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street organized a thematic exhibition "80 Years of Pride in Our Nation - Culture Accompanying the Nation," showcasing nearly 100 book titles on history, revolution, culture, and resistance literature.
The publications on display, from Tre Publishing House, Kim Dong Publishing House, Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House, and National Political Publishing House, offer readers a rich and meaningful reading experience.
Continuing the celebratory atmosphere, from August 28th to September 7th, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street is organizing a book fair to celebrate National Day on September 2nd, featuring thousands of new titles across diverse genres, from literature, history, and skills to children's books.
In addition, there are stalls selling cultural products, souvenirs, special offers and discounts, along with experience-sharing and photo-taking corners for young readers.

A playground to express love for the country.
At Thu Duc City Book Street, the book fair takes place from August 28th to September 7th, featuring thousands of excellent and meaningful books, new publications, and many attractive gift programs and special offers exclusively for the holiday season.
In addition, there is the "Young Talents Stage" program, which takes place regularly at 7 PM every Saturday.
This is not only a familiar playground for young children to confidently showcase their talents in singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments, but also an opportunity for these "young sprouts" to express their love for their homeland and country through their pure and innocent songs and dances.
In addition, interactive playgrounds are regularly organized weekly with a variety of activities: science workshops on the "Technology Train," experiences in painting statues and sand art, learning to play the ukulele, traditional games (O An Quan, stacking blocks, bean sorting, Lego...), and a free community reading area.
The students also had the opportunity to visit traditional cultural and historical spaces such as: the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, the stone monument inscribed with Uncle Ho's teachings, the Truong Sa Island sovereignty marker, and the stone monument recording the biography of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Ho Thi Tu. In addition, there was a raffle with prizes of many good books, which also contributed to encouraging reading habits in the community.

Representatives from the Fahasa bookstore chain stated that the central exhibition areas will be prominently designed with the national flag, lotus flowers, historical images, and symbolic photo corners, creating a solemn yet welcoming space where readers can both visit and capture meaningful moments.
