Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City Book Streets are bustling with book fair activities, displaying many books on history, revolution, culture and resistance literature with the participation of major publishers.
On this occasion, Fahasa also decorated the entire bookstore system with the main colors of red and yellow, recreating the heroic and sacred atmosphere of Independence Day.
Displaying nearly 100 historical and revolutionary books
In early August, the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street was covered in a brilliant red flag with a yellow star. The flags across the street under the tamarind trees, the welcome gate, the billboards, the standees, and the display and check-in corners at each booth created a bustling festival atmosphere, so that readers and visitors could join in the joy of the whole country.
Previously, from August 19 to 25, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street organized a special exhibition "80 years of pride in a strip of land and rivers - culture accompanies the nation", introducing nearly 100 books on history, revolution, culture and resistance literature.
The publications on display come from Tre Publishing House, Kim Dong Publishing House, Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House, and Truth National Political Publishing House, providing readers with a rich and meaningful book space.
Continuing the celebration atmosphere, from August 28 to September 7, Ho Chi Minh City Book Street organizes a Book Fair to celebrate National Day September 2 on the street, with thousands of new book titles, diverse genres from literature, history, skills to children.
Besides, there are booths of cultural products, souvenirs, special promotions and discounts, along with experience and check-in corners for young readers.
