Duong Thuy Vi receives her master's degree.

Duong Thuy Vi posted a picture on social media of herself receiving her Master's degree from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports . The female athlete completed her master's thesis defense last November.

"New chapter, new mindset, new me," Duong Thuy Vi wrote alongside photos from her graduate program graduation ceremony.

At the age of 30, Duong Thuy Vi has achieved many milestones in her career. Most recently, she won a silver medal at the 19th Asian Games (Hangzhou, China).

Following that achievement, she shared her long-term commitment to wushu. Thuy Vi said: " This may not be my last Asian Games. I might appear again in four years, but I'm not sure if I'll participate as an athlete. I've come here and been with wushu until now, so there's no reason for me to stop ."

Duong Thuy Vi was born in 1993 into a family with a martial arts tradition. At the age of 10, Thuy Vi participated in the national youth competition and made a strong impression. Afterwards, she was included in the list of key investment projects.

In 2011, at the age of 18, Thuy Vi participated in her first major tournament, the World Championships. Vi finished the tournament with a silver medal in the saber event. In 2013, Vi competed in her first SEA Games. She excelled and won the gold medal.
