Currently, Ederson is participating in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ in the USA with the Manchester City team. In a recent interview, he shared: "My future is at Manchester City. Some friends often send me a lot of news, but 99% of it is fake news."

In recent months, Ederson has been rumored to be moving to Saudi Arabia to play football. In October 2024, the Brazilian goalkeeper reportedly stated that he had received a lucrative and attractive offer from a Saudi Pro League club.

"My mind is still here," Ederson emphasized. "I will continue to dedicate myself to the club. Man City gave me the opportunity to return to the Premier League and we will try to win the Champions League again."

When asked about Ederson's future, manager Pep Guardiola said: "I don't know. I'm very pleased with what I've seen in training. Ederson has had a fantastic decade with Man City and his contribution has been enormous in many aspects."
