Ederson closes future

Ederson is currently with the Man City squad at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ in the US. In a recent interview, he shared: "My future is at Man City. Some friends often send me a lot of news, but 99% of it is fake news."

In recent months, Ederson has been rumored to be moving to Saudi Arabia to play football. In October 2024, the Brazilian goalkeeper said he had received a lucrative and attractive offer from the Saudi Pro League club.

"My mind is still here," Ederson insisted. "I will continue to give my all for the club. Man City gave me the opportunity to return to the Premier League and we will try to win the Champions League again."

Asked about Ederson's future, coach Pep Guardiola said: "I don't know. I'm very happy with what I see in training. Ederson had a great decade with Man City and his contribution was huge in many aspects."

Man City are reportedly interested in Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa if Ederson leaves. According to A Bola , Costa has a €75m release clause in his contract, but Porto are willing to let him go for around €60m.

The Portuguese goalkeeper has expressed a strong desire to move to the Premier League, thereby "giving the green light" to Man City.
