Although the Norwegian team still has one match left to play against Scotland tomorrow (2:45 AM on November 20th), Israel's 1-2 defeat to Romania on the morning of November 19th means that Norway is officially out of contention for Euro 2024 in Germany next summer.
In Group A, the two direct qualification spots for Euro 2024 have already gone to Spain and Scotland, leaving Norway to rely on a play-off spot.

According to UEFA regulations, teams that did not qualify directly for the Euro 2024 finals through the top two spots in each qualifying group can still travel to Germany next summer based on their ranking in the UEFA Nations League.
In the three UEFA Nations Leagues (Leagues A, B, and C), each League will have four play-off spots for Euro 2024 finals for teams ranked from highest to lowest who have not yet qualified directly for Germany. Since Germany has already been given priority, League A only has three remaining spots.
Additionally, in League A, only Poland and Wales have not yet secured direct qualification, so one spot from League A will be transferred to League B (from 4 to 5).
In League B, the play-off spots are currently held by five teams: Israel, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Finland, Ukraine, and Iceland. Norway is ranked just behind Iceland, meaning they no longer have a chance to qualify for Euro 2024, even through the play-offs.
Having to watch Euro 2024 on TV at home is a huge disappointment for Erling Haaland, as the striker who helped Man City win a historic treble has yet to qualify for a major international tournament like the World Cup or the European Championship.
For Norway, since participating in Euro 2000, the country has never qualified for the Euro or World Cup, despite possessing a golden generation with stars like Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.
