The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has just issued Decision No. 603 to temporarily suspend Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh, Director of the National Load Dispatch Center (A0) to serve specialized inspectors in the management and administration of power supply.
Previously, the Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Industry and Trade to set up a specialized inspection team in accordance with the law on electricity supply and management of EVN from January 1, 1 to June 2021, 1.
After directing the inspection of the electricity supply situation, the Minister of Industry and Trade decided to set up an inspection team of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to inspect the management and supply of electricity of EVN.
Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien requested the inspection team to work impartially and objectively based on the provisions of law, regulations and direction of competent authorities and authorities on the situation and results of EVN's implementation.
The specific content of the inspection team is to clarify the supply and initiative of fuel for power plants; operate the power system; mobilizing power sources (technically), fairness; power transmission problems; mobilizing transitional renewable energy sources.
EVN's Member Council has also issued a resolution to implement the direction of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister on electricity saving, solutions to ensure electricity supply in the dry season in 2023 and in the coming time. The EVN Member Council requested, based on the provisions of the law, the guidance and direction of the competent authorities, the regulations of EVN and the process of directing and operating, the General Director of EVN to decide and take responsibility for the content of the report and provide the records and documents at the request of the inspection team.
