From April 27th to this morning, April 28th, many Facebook users in Vietnam have reported that the application is constantly experiencing errors, disrupting their user experience.
Reports indicate that the application crashes unexpectedly shortly after opening. Some users have reported seeing the message: "Facebook has closed because the application is experiencing an error."
"Every time I click on the Facebook app, it crashes repeatedly, which is very annoying," said Mr. Le Quan (Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
In addition, many other users are experiencing errors when watching videos , with the platform automatically switching to different content or displaying incomplete content even with a stable internet connection. This issue mainly occurs on the mobile version and has not yet been completely resolved.

The Facebook app on mobile phones is experiencing errors.
To date, Meta has not released an official statement regarding the cause of the outage. However, based on previous incidents, the error typically occurs when the system is updated, the News Feed algorithm is adjusted, or there is a temporary server malfunction.
While waiting for a fix, users can try several solutions such as completely closing and reopening the application to refresh the system. Clearing the cache, checking for and updating to the latest version may also help improve the situation. If the error persists, users can switch to using the web version through a browser.

Facebook is experiencing problems.
Previously, Facebook users in Vietnam reported an error related to posting text-only content. Specifically, after posting a status update, the system recorded it, but the interface did not refresh automatically, leading many to mistakenly believe the post had not been published. Only after reloading the application or adding content with images or videos would the news feed update again. This error occurred on both mobile and web versions.
Additionally, recently, some users have reported issues with image display, where uploaded color images are being converted to black and white, affecting both posts and comments.
Previously, in late March 2026, many users were also unable to view comments on posts. When clicked, the interface only displayed a white screen, even when selecting the "all comments" option. The issue lasted for several hours, causing significant disruption, especially for business and sales users on the platform.
