MU fans no longer want Tchouameni. |
Back in April, Spanish media revealed that Manchester United were interested in Tchouameni as a replacement for Casemiro. According to Fichajes , manager Michael Carrick considered the 24-year-old midfielder to be a player of sufficient quality to rebuild the midfield.
With his strong physical fitness, tackling ability, and experience playing at Bernabeu, Tchouameni was considered a suitable candidate. However, things quickly became chaotic after just a few days.
On May 6th, Spanish media outlets reported that a tense conflict had arisen between Tchouameni and Federico Valverde in the Real Madrid dressing room. By May 7th, the situation had escalated into a physical altercation, resulting in Valverde being hospitalized.
At the same time, journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed that MU had contacted Tchouameni's representatives. This information immediately sparked intense controversy among the "Red Devils" fan community. Some fans jokingly called Tchouameni a "WWE wrestler," and even worried that Bruno Fernandes would "lose a tooth" if the French midfielder arrived at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, many others strongly opposed the possibility of MU signing a player who had just been accused of assaulting a teammate. "Why bring in a player who fights in the dressing room?", one commenter wrote. Others argued that MU had spent years stabilizing its internal affairs and should not bring more trouble into the team.
