By 2026, FPT Automotive's office in India is expected to have 500 employees, primarily highly skilled technology engineers with comprehensive capabilities.

At the same time, this office will attract more potential new customers. Pune is currently considered one of the world's leading automotive manufacturing centers, with the presence of renowned car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, etc. Thousands of global startups and technology companies are also operating in Pune, including notable examples such as Red Hat, Quick Heal, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, etc.

FPT Automotive was established by FPT Group in December 2023, aiming to conquer the multi-billion dollar automotive software market. The company is headquartered in Texas, USA. Prior to establishing FPT Automotive, FPT had already invested in this field for over 10 years, with a team of over 4,000 experts developing comprehensive automotive software services, ranging from entertainment and in-car information technology, electronic control units (ECUs), safety and security functions, to UI/UX design for cars, wireless connectivity, and digital technology.

With a growth rate of approximately 40% in recent years, this sector has made a significant contribution to FPT reaching the milestone of $1 billion in IT service revenue for overseas markets in 2023.

FPT's comprehensive MaaZ automotive technology solution has also received global recognition with the AutoTech Breakthrough Awards – an international award dedicated to innovative initiatives in the automotive technology industry, held annually.

FPT currently has a network of 150 clients, including leading companies in the industry such as Volvo, Honda, Hyundai, Ford, LG, Panasonic, VinFast , NXP, etc. Recently, the company reached an agreement to cooperate in developing software for Nippon Seiki's devices - a leading global corporation in the market share of instrument clusters (meters) and head-up displays (HUDs) for cars and motorcycles.
