Responsibility to the People

According to Ms. Vuong Thuy Hang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department of Tuyen Quang province: Implementing Project No. 02-DA/TU dated May 23, 2021, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department has actively advised the provincial Party Committee, focusing strongly on the grassroots level; coordinating with local Party committees, agencies, and units in the province to direct and guide the "three together" activities, mobilizing Party members, cadres, civil servants, armed forces personnel, cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at the provincial, district, and commune levels to participate in activities with the people at the grassroots level, associated with the "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" campaign.

In the spirit of respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people, relying on the people, and being responsible to the people, in the first six months of 2024, nearly 500 Party branches and committees, and nearly 16,000 cadres and Party members participated in activities with the people in 2,300 villages and hamlets, attracting 65,000 people to participate.

One of the units that has actively and responsibly served the people, receiving recognition and high praise from Party committees and authorities at all levels, is the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Public Security Force. In the first six months of 2024, the Provincial Public Security Force mobilized nearly 500 Party members, officers, and soldiers from 27 Party branches under the Provincial Public Security Party Committee to participate in 63 activities with the people at the grassroots level; helped 10 poor households repair or build new houses; installed 3 "Lighting Up Rural Roads" power lines with a total length of 1,400 meters; helped people clear, repair, and maintain nearly 6,000 meters of rural roads; and supported 9 families in planting 10.7 hectares of forest. At the same time, they organized legal awareness campaigns for 921 cadres, Party members, and citizens; provided free medical examinations and medicine to 200 people; Gifts worth over 300 million VND were given to families receiving government assistance, the elderly, students, and disadvantaged households.

The Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, and the local people at the Nặm Bó Kindergarten in Kiến Thiết commune (Yên Sơn district) are participating in a community outreach program.

Leveraging the energy of youth, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc is also one of the leading forces in implementing the "3 Together" initiative with the people. Ms. Chau Thi Phuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Finance, stated: In 2023, the Youth Union of the Department of Finance participated in supporting the people of Bach Xa commune (Ham Yen district) in building 4 containers for pesticide packaging waste, constructing 2 concrete roads, and building entrance gates to the two cultural houses of Lang Chang village and Ngoi Nung village, Bach Xa commune, with a total amount exceeding 10 million VND.

In addition, the youth union branch also coordinated with other youth union branches in Emulation Cluster No. 02, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc to support and participate in the construction of the "Lighting up the Countryside" power line project, 700 meters long, in Dong Min village, Binh Yen commune (Son Duong district), worth over 15 million VND.

Trusted and loved by the people.

A week has passed, but Ms. Luong Thi Buong, Principal of Kien Thiet Kindergarten (Yen Son), is still deeply moved by the contributions of leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, Yen Son district, and Kien Thiet commune, along with over 100 officers and soldiers, who helped the school build a roof and playground for the children at the Nam Bo kindergarten branch. The total value of the money and labor contributed exceeded 100 million VND.

Ms. Buong shared: Kien Thiet Kindergarten has 8 school locations with 468 students, of which Nam Bo is the most disadvantaged, with 116 students, mainly children of the Mong and Tay ethnic minorities, studying there. The children's daily journey to school is mostly on dirt roads, crossing 5 or 6 streams from the commune center. During rainy and flood days, teachers and students cannot get to school. The practical support and cooperation from leaders of various departments and levels today is a great encouragement and motivation, inspiring the teachers and students to continue striving to overcome difficulties and excel in teaching and learning.

In Minh Huong commune (Ham Yen district), where over 90% of the population are ethnic minorities, Captain Dang Quoc Trung, a police officer, is loved and trusted by the people as "a son of the village." He not only eats, lives, and works alongside the villagers, but he also speaks the Tay, Mong, and Dao languages ​​with them in their daily lives. To understand the villagers' thoughts and aspirations and the local situation, and to promote economic development, Captain Trung personally goes to the fields to harvest corn and rice with the villagers.

With responsibility, dedication, and a deep, inseparable bond with the people, the cadres, Party members, civil servants, armed forces personnel, Fatherland Front officials, and political and social organizations at all levels have been writing beautiful and simple stories in everyday life. In this journey, listening to the difficulties and obstacles from the grassroots will help each cadre, Party member, and armed forces soldier better fulfill their advisory and support functions for the province in each area of ​​work, creating a combined strength and contributing to building a solid political system at the grassroots level.
