Garnacho is being criticized.

Former goalkeeper Ben Foster has sharply criticized young midfielder Alejandro Garnacho for his negative attitude after the Europa League final defeat, as well as for his hairstyle.

Garnacho's hairstyle has drawn criticism.

Foster stated frankly: "I want hardworking, honest players who always play for the team. But I didn't feel that from Garnacho. Seeing him sitting there after the final, not encouraging his teammates, not helping to lift their spirits, I saw the difference so clearly."

Foster didn't stop there, adding: "Look at Brennan Johnson of Tottenham. After the final, his hair was a mess, like he hadn't had a haircut in three months, but his speech was incredibly humble and inspiring. And Garnacho? He had just gotten a haircut and dyed it bright blonde before the match, but he sat alone after the final whistle, not bothering to stand up with his teammates."

"I think with Manchester United at this point, it's best to let him go," Foster concluded.

Garnacho has scored 26 goals in 144 appearances for Manchester United since joining the club in 2020. Once considered the "future of the team," he now faces the risk of being forced out of Old Trafford after Amorim requested the Argentinian player find a new club.

Reports that Garnacho is no longer in Amorim's plans are further substantiated by Manchester United's £62.5 million signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and their likely completion of the Bryan Mbeumo deal from Brentford this month. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Napoli are reportedly closely monitoring the situation to rescue Garnacho from Old Trafford.

Garnacho also clashed with fans after the disastrous tour of Asia, showing signs of dissatisfaction from both sides. From a hailed prodigy, the 20-year-old's future at MU now faces a major crossroads, and perhaps, the possibility of him leaving is clearer than ever.
