The articles, images, and documents in this book are presented chronologically, reflecting the formation, development, and growth of Vietnam's revolutionary press, linked to each stage of the Party and nation's revolution: from the revolutionary movement and struggle for power, through the two wars of resistance against France and the United States; the implementation of national construction and defense; and serving the cause of comprehensive reform, leading the country into a new era. The book portrays historical milestones, the achievements, and the silent sacrifices of Vietnam's revolutionary journalists over the past century.
This confirms that, throughout the revolutionary periods, the press not only fulfilled its nhiệm vụ of providing information and reflecting the country's realities in a timely and vivid manner, but also played a crucial role in ideological education, guiding public opinion, combating and preventing false and hostile narratives, and raising the political awareness of the people.
