After plummeting to below 25,000 VND/USD for buying at the end of last week, the USD price on the free market has tended to recover since the middle of this week.

Notably, after a few sessions of slight increases, the free market USD price today saw a sharp upward adjustment.

Foreign exchange bureaus in the free market today are trading USD at a common rate of 25,110-25,210 VND/USD (buying - selling). Compared to the previous session, the free market USD price has increased by 110 VND in both buying and selling rates.

Despite the rapid increase, compared to the peak of 25,950-26,030 VND/USD (buying - selling) set on June 27th, the free market USD price is still 840 VND lower on the buying side and 820 VND cheaper on the selling side.
