Gasoline prices were adjusted down by nearly 40-70 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m. on October 24.

Similarly, diesel and kerosene were also adjusted down by VND264 and VND57 per liter to new prices of VND18,057 per liter and VND18,570. Meanwhile, fuel oil increased by VND139 per kilogram to VND16,229 per kilogram.

The world oil market from October 17 to 23, 2024 was affected by factors such as: increased conflict in the Middle East, increased US crude oil reserves, ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... These factors caused world oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each product.

With this adjustment, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 20 times and decreased 22 times. Diesel has increased 18 times and decreased 23 times. Currently, gasoline prices are still at their lowest level in more than 3 years, equivalent to June 2021.
