DNVN - Gasoline prices were adjusted down by nearly 40-70 VND/liter from 3 PM on October 24th. While diesel and kerosene prices decreased, fuel oil prices increased by nearly 140 VND/kg.
Gasoline prices decreased by 38 VND/liter.
In the price adjustment session on October 24th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided not to allocate funds or use the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 and RON 95 III gasoline will have new prices of 19,692 VND/liter and 20,894 VND/liter respectively, after being adjusted down by 38 VND/liter and 68 VND/liter compared to the current retail prices.
Gasoline prices were adjusted down by nearly 40-70 VND/liter from 3 PM on October 24th.
Similarly, diesel and kerosene prices were also adjusted down by 264 VND and 57 VND/liter, respectively, to new prices of 18,057 VND/liter and 18,570 VND/liter. Meanwhile, fuel oil increased by 139 VND/kg to 16,229 VND/kg.
The global oil market from October 17-23, 2024 was influenced by factors such as: escalating conflict in the Middle East, increased US crude oil reserves, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine … These factors caused global oil prices to fluctuate, rising and falling depending on the specific product.
With this latest adjustment, gasoline prices have increased 20 times and decreased 22 times since the beginning of the year. Diesel prices have increased 18 times and decreased 23 times. Currently, gasoline prices remain at their lowest level in over three years, equivalent to the level in June 2021.
