52 grassroots trade unions dissolved.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union presented the decision to dissolve the grassroots trade union belonging to the administrative and public service sector, whose employees receive 100% of their salaries from the state budget.

On the afternoon of June 18th, the Trade Union of Party Agencies of the province and the Trade Union of the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision to dissolve 52 affiliated grassroots trade unions. Simultaneously, the Executive Committees, Standing Committees, and Inspection Committees of these trade unions ceased operations from June 14th, 2025. The Executive Committees of the dissolved grassroots trade unions are responsible for handing over all seals, trade union finances, accounting documents, and related materials to their superiors as per regulations.

The 52 grassroots trade unions dissolved this time are units belonging to the administrative sector and public service units that receive 100% of their salaries from the state budget.

According to Government Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP dated June 21, 2021, public service units with a self-sufficiency rate of less than 10% for recurrent expenditures will be dissolved. This measure aims to concretize the Party's policy on streamlining the organizational structure, improving operational efficiency, and building a strong trade union organization in line with the new situation.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Labor Union leaders, in recent years, the trade unions in the administrative and public service sectors of the province have continuously strived to successfully fulfill their assigned functions and tasks. They have organized many practical activities to care for the lives of more than 5,000 union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers. They have actively participated in emulation movements, contributing to building stronger and more developed agencies and units.

Also on this occasion, the Trade Union of Party Agencies of the province handed over 3 grassroots trade unions; the Trade Union of the Provincial People's Committee handed over 18 grassroots trade unions to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management, direction and operation according to regulations.

In early March 2025, the Provincial Labor Federation established the Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union and the Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union. The Provincial Party Agencies' Trade Union comprises 24 grassroots trade unions and 1,164 members. The Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union has 47 grassroots trade unions and 7,210 members.
