Director of Hanoi City Police Department was awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal

On July 8, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review the work of the Public Security in the first 6 months of 2024 to assess the situation and results of all aspects of work in the first 6 months of the year, identify key tasks and solutions to successfully implement the goals, requirements and tasks of the People's Public Security force in 2024.

General To Lam - Politburo member, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, Commander-in-Chief of the People's Armed Forces, attended and delivered a speech.

President To Lam gave a speech at the Conference.

In recognition of their outstanding achievements in combat, combat service, building the People's Public Security force, maintaining political security and protecting the Fatherland, the President awarded Medals to 16 collectives and individuals; the Prime Minister awarded the title of National Emulation Fighter to 3 individuals.

President To Lam presented the Third Class Military Exploit Order to Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of Public Security; the First Class Fatherland Protection Order to Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; and the First Class Feat of Arms Order to Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

The President also awarded the First Class Military Exploit Order to Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of Hanoi City Police; Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Director of the Economic Police Department; Major General Dinh Van Noi, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police; and Colonel Bui Quang Binh, Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police.

President To Lam presented the Second Class Military Exploit Order to Lam Dong Provincial Police; Lieutenant General Duong Thanh Ha - former Director of the Department of Foreign Security; Lieutenant General Tran Hai Quan - Commander of the Guard Command; Major General Nguyen Duc Bang - former Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Security; Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh - Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police.

President To Lam awarded the Military Exploit Order and the Fatherland Protection Order to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in combat and combat service, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
