TTH.VN – On the afternoon of June 3, the Hue International Kite Festival 6 with the participation of many Southeast Asian countries has just been opened. Art kite-flying performances, exhibitions and kite-making experiences will be held from June 2023 to June 3 within the framework of the Summer Festival of Hue Festival 6.

Hue International Kite Festival 2023 is organized to promote and preserve the art of kite making - kite flying, and at the same time to form and develop a new culture - art - tourism festival in Thua Thien Hue in the summer. . The show displays 120 kites of all kinds, including: dragon kite, phoenix, peacock, hawk, crow, swallow, rooster, butterfly and goldfish.

The program also has a kite making experience "Children's kite" at Tu Tuong Park for children. In particular, the festival will have an art kite flying program at 15pm - 18pm at Ngo Mon Square (June 4 - 5 and June 6); Thuan An beach (June 8-6) with the participation of international kite clubs: Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand; with the host are a group of Hue kite artisans and domestic kite clubs: Golden Kite Restaurant Club (Nam Dinh), Phoenix art kite club and Huong Duong kite club (Ho Chi Minh City). At the opening program of the festival, Mr. Ho Dang Long, Deputy Director of Hue Festival Center, said that the kite festival aims to contribute to preserving and promoting Hue's kite-making tradition, at the same time attracting tourists and creating a courtyard. play and viewing opportunities for those who love "air puppetry".
