In 2002, Mr. Duc and his wife founded a charity called "Good leaves protect torn leaves" (LLDLR). At first, only he and his wife did all the steps: from finding out, detecting cases that needed help, then spending their own money to organizing visits, giving gifts, encouraging morale... Gradually, the good news spread far and wide, up to now, the LLDLR Charity Association has gathered 20 members from all walks of life: from civil servants, public employees, teachers, small business women, private enterprises. , to the motorbike taxis, cyclos ... join in. The association operates with the motto: "Doing the righteous thing, not counting the truth". Through the process of operation, the association has had many meaningful programs and many volunteer activities with profound human values.
For example, the program "Love shirt for students in remote areas of A Luoi" - collects some items: old clothes, shoes, blankets, books, pencils, pens, to rice, instant noodles … to help poor children and students of preschool, primary and secondary schools in Hong Van and A Roang communes; The program "Giving gifts for the Lunar New Year" brings smiles, joy and happiness to poor students in some localities of the province. In 2018, the Women's Forestry Association, led by Mr. Duc as president, gave gifts to disadvantaged people, cancer, serious illnesses, and provided scholarships to poor students and students who overcame difficulties and children in remote areas in the locality.
