For Lao Cai Newspaper, literature and art are an indispensable part of the content of its print, online, radio, and television publications. This is a vibrant platform reflecting the literary and artistic creative activities of members of the Lao Cai Provincial Literature and Art Association, as well as many other localities nationwide. It is fertile ground for nurturing literary and artistic works, allowing authors to showcase their talents in various forms such as prose, poetry, photography, and painting.

Besides my professional editorial work in journalism, I have the opportunity to regularly access literary and artistic works, poems, and beautiful photographs. I am fortunate to be immersed in the rhythm of romantic and emotionally rich souls. After each work, I learn a great deal about vocabulary, expression, and the writing style of different authors. Through my work as an editor, I have gradually learned and refined my writing skills, making my sentences smoother and more expressive. Being exposed to many beautiful moments from artistic photographs by various artists, in addition to the necessary information for a journalistic photograph, has helped me improve my photography skills, resulting in works with better composition and visual appeal. Through the works selected for publication in the Lao Cai newspaper, I can see in each piece the diligent and serious labor of the authors in the "field" of words, in the way they express language and rhyme in each form.

Planting trees also has its day of harvest. Our collaborators, likened to "sowers of seeds in distant fields," have reaped many commendable achievements in professional journalism awards organized annually from the central to local levels, across all sectors. It's impossible to list all the awards and works that our team of collaborators has contributed to and achieved over the years; we only know that they are an indispensable part of the overall success of local journalism.

Having collaborated with Lao Cai Newspaper for nearly 10 years, author Le Duyen from the Van Ban District Cultural, Sports and Communication Center shared: "Collaborating with Lao Cai Newspaper has helped me hone my skills and mature in journalism. In the early days, I was still hesitant about choosing topics because reality is always far different from textbook knowledge. Working at the grassroots level has given me more confidence and a greater love for the profession. Being close to life, I realized that to create good journalistic work, it's not necessary to use flowery language; what's important is to reflect life truthfully and quickly. What I learned during my time collaborating with Lao Cai Newspaper is patience, carefulness in writing, responsibility, and a love for journalism."

For 20 years working at Lao Cai Newspaper, I spent 18 of those years as an editor in the Editorial Secretariat, now the Editorial and Production Organization Department. It was also a fortunate opportunity given to me by the journalistic profession to daily access journalistic works from our team of correspondents and contributors from various agencies, departments, localities, and provinces and cities across the country. The bond with these writers and their familiar writings has been broken, becoming as close as comrades and colleagues. Whenever we needed information or an article, we could immediately receive a submission.

June is a bustling and vibrant month in the 100-year history of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, and also marks a milestone as Lao Cai province has expanded significantly. In the future, the "seed sowers in the distant fields" of the Lao Cai and Yen Bai newspapers, sharing the same Red River heavy with silt and the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range, will reunite, returning to their Lao Cai home with new hopes, continuing to work with the Editorial Board and staff and reporters of the Lao Cai Newspaper to sow new golden harvests on the beloved "field" of journalism.
