For Lao Cai Newspaper, the literature and arts section is an indispensable part of the content of printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio and television. This is a playground that vividly reflects the literary and artistic creation activities of members of the Literature and Arts Association of Lao Cai province as well as many localities in the country, is a fertile land to nurture literary and artistic works, for authors to show off their talents in the forms of prose, poetry, photography, painting, etc.

In addition to my professional editing work in the field of journalism, I have the opportunity to regularly access literary and artistic works, poems, beautiful photos... I am fortunate to live in the rhythm of the soul of romantic, emotional, soaring souls. After each work, I learn a lot of vocabulary, expressions, and writing styles of each different writer. Also from doing editing work, the rain soaks in the water for a long time, I have somewhat learned and trained myself to write more carefully, with smoother, more soaring sentences. Having access to many beautiful moments from artistic photos of photographers, in addition to the necessary information of a press photo work, I find that I have "improved" my skills in photography, and the works have better composition and shaping. Through the works selected for publication in Lao Cai newspaper, I read in each work the diligent and serious work of the authors in the "field" of words, in the way of expressing language and rhyme in each type.

Planting trees will also have a day to reap the fruits. The collaborators, who are likened to "sowers in distant fields", have also reaped many valuable achievements in professional journalism awards organized annually from central to local levels and sectors. It is impossible to list all the awards and works that the team of collaborators have been associated with and achieved over the years, only knowing that they are an indispensable part of the overall achievements of local journalism activities.

After nearly 10 years of working with Lao Cai Newspaper, author Le Duyen, Van Ban District Culture, Sports and Communication Center, shared: Working with Lao Cai Newspaper, I have been trained and matured in journalism. In the early days of entering the profession, I was still confused about how to choose a topic because reality is always far from book knowledge. The process of working at the base has given me more confidence and love for the job. Being close to life, I realized that to have good journalistic works, it is not necessary to use flowery language, but it is important to reflect the truth of life as quickly as possible. What I learned during my time working with Lao Cai Newspaper is patience, carefulness in writing, responsibility and love for journalism.

During my 20 years working at Lao Cai Newspaper, I have been an editor for 18 years in the Editorial Secretariat, now the Editorial and Production Department. It is also the opportunity that journalism gives me to have access to journalistic works sent to the editorial office every day by the team of informants and collaborators from agencies, departments, branches, localities and from provinces and cities across the country. The affection for the writers and familiar writings is no longer a distance but close like comrades and colleagues. Whenever I need to connect information to order articles, I immediately have the works sent to the editorial office.

June is bustling and bustling in the flow of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, also a milestone when Lao Cai province has become more spacious.
