According to the Hanoi Department of Health , there are currently 113 establishments in Hanoi that have been granted certificates of eligibility for cosmetic production. To facilitate businesses, the Hanoi Department of Health has strengthened the application of information technology in state management of cosmetics.
The issuance of cosmetic product declaration certificates is ensured to comply with administrative procedures and timeframes; public postal services are utilized to further shorten processing times and simplify procedures.

Post-inspection work has shown that units have proactively complied with regulations on the production and business of cosmetics. However, there are still some establishments that do not maintain the production conditions as initially assessed; violate advertising regulations; and produce according to formulas that do not match the product declaration dossiers…
The post-inspection process involves close coordination between functional departments of the Department of Health and the Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food, aiming to promptly detect and handle violations in accordance with the law. This is combined with the dissemination and guidance on the implementation of legal regulations regarding the production and business of cosmetics.
