Hanoi will organize 70 spring flower markets throughout the city to serve the shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment needs of people during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 387 on organizing spring flower markets to serve the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025 in the capital city.

Accordingly, Hanoi will organize 70 spring flower markets throughout the city to serve the shopping, sightseeing, and entertainment needs of the people.

The spring flower market will be held from January 8th to 8 PM on January 28th, 2025. Products on display will include ornamental plants, flowers, and fruits; handicrafts; OCOP (One Commune One Product) products; and other products for the Lunar New Year.

The locations for the spring flower markets approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee must ensure requirements regarding security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, and environmental hygiene. The collection of fees for renting business space and parking at the flower markets must comply with current regulations.

Hanoi also requires that spring flower markets have name signs, decorations with flags and lighting; designated workspaces and phone numbers of the market management unit for contact and timely resolution of incidents; appropriate areas for parking for visitors; and public restrooms.

The management unit must decorate and arrange the market area, and organize flowers, ornamental plants, and various goods in a reasonable and convenient manner for people's shopping, reflecting the traditional cultural beauty of the capital and ensuring commercial civility and urban aesthetics.
