According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, the torrential rain that lasted from the night of March 29th to the early morning of March 30th caused localized flooding in many areas of Hanoi.
In particular, thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms occurred in some areas such as Ha Dong, Long Bien, Dong Ngac (formerly Bac Tu Liem), and Dong Anh. The thunderstorms caused trees to fall in some places.
On the morning of March 30th, the rain in Hanoi stopped, the sun came out in the afternoon, the temperature rose rapidly, and there is a possibility of hot weather.
In the northern region, heavy rain continued in Bac Ninh , Quang Ninh, and Hai Phong on the morning of March 30th. The forecast indicates that the rain will decrease in the afternoon, the weather will turn sunny, and temperatures will rise rapidly.
The meteorological agency said that the North is in a transitional period between seasons, and the competition between hot and cold air masses often causes extreme weather phenomena such as thunderstorms and hailstorms.
