According to the Department of Construction, recently, this agency has coordinated with localities to conduct a general review of the weak bridge and temporary bridge system in the area.

However, the results show that the number of bridges reported by localities is still insufficient, many projects do not have completion records or inspection records. In addition, the conversion to a two-level urban government model also creates many difficulties, affecting the process of synthesizing and completing the overall program.

Therefore, in order to have a basis to report to the City People's Committee for consideration and approval, the Department of Construction requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to review and provide full information on bridge works, including: Location, scale, current status, management records, inspection records. Localities need to check and report in detail the current status of weak bridge systems, temporary bridges, especially works affected by Typhoon Yagi so far.
