To date, the disbursement progress of funds for land clearance for the North-South expressway project in Ha Tinh province is 2,173.94 billion VND, reaching 76.86%.

Ha Tinh province has disbursed nearly 77% of the funds for land clearance for the North-South expressway.

The North-South Expressway Eastern section project, phase 2021-2025, passing through Ha Tinh province, is currently under construction.

The North-South Expressway project (Eastern section) for the 2021-2025 period, passing through Ha Tinh province, has a length of 102.38 km, comprising three component projects: Bai Vot – Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi – Vung Ang, and Vung Ang – Bung. In addition, three connecting roads to the expressway, totaling 12.18 km, are also being constructed within the province.

To carry out land clearance for the national key project, the Ministry of Transport has allocated 2,853.43 billion VND to Ha Tinh province. According to Le Anh Son, Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Department of Transport, as of November 14th, the province has completed the land survey, valuation, and approval of compensation plans at 99.49%, and has handed over the land to the investor for construction at 98.21%.

The disbursement progress of land clearance funds for the project to date is 2,173.94/2,853.43 billion VND, reaching 76.86%. Specifically, for the Bai Vot – Ham Nghi section: Duc Tho district reached 99.09%, Can Loc district reached 92.66%, Ha Tinh city reached 90.78%, and Thach Ha district reached 70.56%; for the Ham Nghi – Vung Ang section: Thach Ha district reached 89.39%, Cam Xuyen district reached 77.85%, and Ky Anh district reached 55.39%; for the Vung Ang – Bung section: Ky Anh district reached 64.64%, and Ky Anh town reached 40.02%.

Ha Tinh province has disbursed nearly 77% of the funds for land clearance for the North-South expressway.

Many households have begun constructing houses in the resettlement areas for the North-South Expressway.

In addition, construction has begun on 26 resettlement areas and 4 cemeteries serving the North-South expressway project within the province. To date, 10 areas have reached 100% completion (7 resettlement areas and 3 cemeteries); the remaining areas have achieved between 67% and 99% completion.

Resettlement areas have essentially ensured the conditions for displaced people to build new homes. Currently, many households are starting to build houses in these resettlement areas.
