Undeterred by sun or rain, they "support" candidates entering the examination rooms; they patiently go door-to-door guiding elderly people on how to use digital technology; and they tirelessly create safe summer playgrounds for children... These are examples of the spirit of "wherever there is a need, the youth are there; wherever there is difficulty, the youth are there" of the young people of Thuan Chau commune.

The Thuận Châu Commune Youth Union has 95 affiliated organizations, including 91 branches and 4 school-based youth union units, with over 2,700 members. Embracing the pioneering spirit of youth, the members of the Thuận Châu Commune Youth Union are making positive contributions to community life.

We arrived at Thuan Chau High School right after the end of the 2026-2027 high school entrance exam. Speaking with us, Luong Van Khoa, from Ca Cai village, Thuan Chau commune, shared: "The 10th grade entrance exam is a very important exam for me. Especially this year, I have an unforgettable experience. In the days leading up to the exam, I studied late into the night, and I was so tired that I overslept on the day of the math exam. Luckily, members of the Thuan Chau Commune Police Youth Union came to my house to pick me up, so I arrived in time for the exam. I am truly grateful to the Youth Union members for their support during the exam days."

Continuing the story of Luong Van Khoa, Lieutenant Tran Quang Phat, a member of the Youth Union of Thuan Chau Commune Police, said: "In the early afternoon of June 1st, before the Math exam, I was on duty guarding the outer perimeter at the Thuan Chau High School exam site. I received information that a student from Ca Cai village, about 5 km from the exam site, had not yet arrived. I immediately contacted the student's parents and drove my personal motorbike to Khoa's house to pick him up and bring him to the exam site on time. I feel very happy that I was able to support Khoa in this important exam."

Through these activities, they contributed to raising awareness among children and parents, while creating a safe and healthy environment for children to play and learn.

From the beginning of 2026 until now, the Thuận Châu Commune Youth Union has also effectively promoted its pioneering and volunteer role for the community through many practical activities, focusing on grassroots levels and serving the people, such as: Establishing and maintaining youth volunteer teams to support the operation of the two-tiered local government model; directly guiding people in carrying out administrative procedures, using online public services, installing and using VneID electronic identification accounts; disseminating legal education , drug prevention, traffic safety, and environmental protection; maintaining "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday" activities, and launching environmental sanitation campaigns.

In particular, the Youth Union of the commune coordinated the organization of a mock trial at Thuan Chau Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School with the content of disseminating and educating on the law on drug prevention and control in schools. The Executive Committee of the commune's Youth Union directed the grassroots and affiliated Youth Unions to form volunteer youth teams to organize more than 60 environmental sanitation sessions; 45 events with cultural, artistic, physical education, sports , and folk games activities; youth football tournaments… activities that attracted more than 5,000 Youth Union members and a large number of people to participate.

Through these practical activities, the youth of Thuan Chau commune have clearly demonstrated their sense of responsibility, pioneering role, and volunteer spirit for community life, actively contributing to maintaining security and order and building new rural areas. Ms. Ca Thi Pho, 71 years old, from Hop Nhat 1 village, Thuan Chau commune, said: "I received enthusiastic and meticulous support and guidance from the youth union members in the commune in installing and using the VneID electronic identification account, so now I can use my phone with peace of mind when I need to access its features. Smartphones are also a common means for us to contact our children and grandchildren far away; to learn about how to take care of our health in old age, to sing Thai songs, and to stay updated on the Party's policies, guidelines, and the State's laws and regulations…"
