Ready for the national festival!
The Sê Rê Pốk Border Guard Post is tasked with managing and protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security along a 14.695 km stretch of border. Due to the nature of its mission, it was one of the units selected to hold early voting on March 14th.
Alongside election preparations at the unit, officers and soldiers of the Se Re Pok Border Guard Post maintained strict combat readiness, patrolling and controlling the border to firmly protect sovereignty and security. In addition, the post actively coordinated with Buon Don commune to promote and decorate the area, contributing to ensuring security and order before, during, and after the election.

For Major Y Ta Rat Byă, a professional military officer and member of the unit's Mass Mobilization Team, each election holds special significance. A M'nong ethnic minority, born and raised in the border commune of Buon Don, he has participated in elections three times. He shared: “Participating directly in elections is an honor and a responsibility of every citizen. I believe that the election will select truly outstanding representatives who will reflect the will and aspirations of the people.”
In the province's border communes, preparing for the election is not only the responsibility of the government but also a source of pride for every citizen. People work together to erect flagpoles in front of their houses; women's association members participate in cleaning the voter list bulletin boards. Polling stations are swept clean and brightly decorated. Election propaganda information is regularly broadcast on loudspeakers in both the common language and ethnic minority languages...
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Chairman of the Election Committee of Ia R'vê border commune, the total number of voters in the commune is 4,447; the locality has designated 8 electoral units with 14 polling stations. The polling stations are mainly located at village cultural centers, with some polling locations situated in schools.
To ensure the election is successful, the local authorities have deployed experienced personnel with expertise in election work and information technology, and provided sufficient equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners, to carry out the tasks. In addition, the Commune Election Committee has directed subcommittees, support teams, and polling stations to closely monitor the voter situation in each electoral unit. They have also anticipated potential scenarios that could affect the election process and developed effective solutions to ensure progress and quality.

These days, the roads leading to the coastal fishing villages in Phu Yen ward are more bustling than ever. Along the main roads, red flags with yellow stars, banners, and slogans are proudly displayed, signaling the approaching great national festival.
Due to its unique characteristics as a locality with a large fishing fleet of 267 fishing vessels and over 1,300 fishermen regularly participating in fishing trips, each lasting a month, preparations for the election were carried out early and proactively. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Canh, Chairman of the People's Committee and Chairman of the Phu Yen Ward Election Committee, informed that the ward has over 45,900 voters, of which more than 1,300 are fishermen. Therefore, the locality regularly reviews and updates the voter list and intensifies propaganda through Zalo groups, public address systems, and direct meetings in residential areas.
In Vung Ro village (Hoa Xuan commune), the atmosphere of preparation for election day is also very lively. Shrimp farming rafts have become familiar propaganda points as local officials regularly visit to meet with people, inform them about the election time, polling locations, candidate lists, and encourage them to participate fully in the election.
In the mountainous commune of Xuan Lanh, along the roads leading to the villages of Xi Thoai, Lanh Van, and Da Loc, red flags with yellow stars and banners stand out against the green of cassava and corn fields. At the village cultural centers, loudspeakers regularly broadcast information about the list of candidates in both Vietnamese and the Cham and Ba Na languages, helping people to fully understand the information. Elder Ma Niem, a respected figure in Xuan Lanh commune, excitedly said: “The villagers are very eager. For many days now, the young people in the village, along with commune officials, have gone from house to house to distribute voter cards, reminding people to vote on Sunday, March 15th, on time, and to elect the right people with talent and virtue to ensure a better and more prosperous life for our ethnic minority people.”
According to Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Lanh commune, due to the mountainous terrain and scattered population, propaganda work in Xuan Lanh is implemented flexibly. Not only limited to centralized meetings, election committees also coordinate with village elders and influential people to regularly explain to voters the criteria for election representatives. This close interaction has helped people understand that each vote is not only a personal right but also a responsibility towards the development of their homeland.
