"Going door to door, knowing every house" is an effective "People's Mobilization" model that Vinh Hanh commune has maintained for many years. The core force participating in the model includes officials from mass organizations, socio- political organizations, hamlet People's Committees, along with police, military forces, and influential community members. Members directly go to the grassroots level to understand the living conditions, thoughts, feelings, and legitimate aspirations of the people, promptly reporting and proposing solutions to the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune to address difficulties in the area. At the same time, they strengthen the dissemination of information to the people on environmental protection, prevention and control of social evils, vigilance against various types of crime, and active participation in the emulation movement for socio-economic development.
Over the past period, many flower-lined roads have been established and expanded in Vinh Hanh commune, creating a highlight in the construction of new rural areas. This is the result of effective "people mobilization" in implementing the "Flower-lined roads, beautiful hamlets" model maintained by the local authorities. Thanks to the care of the people, these flower-lined roads are becoming more vibrant and are being replicated on many other roads in the commune.
Vinh Hoa 1 hamlet has effectively implemented this model. In addition to planting flowers and mobilizing residents to clear weeds and care for flowers along main roads, the Party branch and People's Committee of the hamlet have also mobilized social resources and the support of various organizations to repair and upgrade the street lighting system, install propaganda panels, and create a bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscape.
Without being told, when the flower-lined road was created, the residents of Vinh Hoa 1 hamlet voluntarily took care of the flowers and regularly cleaned the road in front of their houses. Ms. Nguyen Thu Van shared: “My family fully supports and cooperates with the local government in planting flowers along the road. Since the flower-lined road was implemented, people's environmental awareness has significantly improved, and the amount of littering has decreased considerably. We work together to care for and plant more flowers so that the road becomes even more beautiful.”
According to Huynh Viet Thang, Head of the People's Committee of Vinh Hoa 1 hamlet, many rural roads were previously overgrown with grass or encroached upon by people storing items, firewood, and garbage. After being informed and educated, residents have agreed to support the implementation of the "Flower-lined roads, beautiful hamlets" model. "These flower-lined roads have contributed to changing people's awareness of environmental hygiene. In areas where flowers are planted, there is almost no more littering, and everyone is conscious of maintaining general cleanliness," Mr. Thang shared.
According to Ho Truong Huan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Hanh commune, the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement has always been given attention, leadership, and guidance by the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in the area, and has been implemented synchronously and in accordance with the requirements of the local political tasks. The movement has truly spread throughout life, mobilizing resources and the dynamism and creativity of the people to participate in socio -economic development. Many models have proven effective in mobilizing people to participate in building new rural areas, fostering a spirit of mutual support and contributing to the successful implementation of the local political tasks.
