Harvard expands tuition waiver eligibility

Harvard University (USA) announced on March 17 that it will waive tuition fees for undergraduate students from families with incomes of no more than 200,000 USD (5.1 billion VND)/year and will also pay for health insurance, housing and other expenses for students from families with incomes of less than 100,000 USD.


This preferential policy will take effect in the 2025-2026 school year, according to Reuters.

Previously, Harvard University waived tuition fees for undergraduate students from families with incomes of no more than $85,000 a year, emphasizing that the school wanted to make the institution more affordable for more students, especially those from middle-income families.

Tuition and fees for undergraduate students at Harvard University in the 2024-2025 academic year are more than $82,000, according to Reuters.
