In his opening remarks at the session, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward, Ngo Van Nam, stated that this session is of great importance as the People's Council will consider, discuss, and decide on the 5-year socio -economic development plan for the period 2026-2030 and the Resolution on socio-economic development tasks for the last six months of 2026; and the Project on rearranging residential groups and the arrangement, utilization, and policies for part-time personnel working in residential groups in the ward. These are important contents that both provide long-term development orientation and meet practical requirements in leadership, direction, management, and implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the locality.
At the session, with a sense of responsibility to the voters and the people, the ward's People's Council representatives focused on studying and discussing in depth, contributing many heartfelt, responsible, and high-quality opinions on the reports, proposals, and draft resolutions presented at the session.
During the working session, the Ward People's Council thoroughly reviewed and discussed reports on the results of implementing socio-economic development targets; the situation regarding the implementation of budget revenue and expenditure estimates, public investment; crime prevention and control; and the handling of complaints and denunciations. The delegates highly appreciated the decisive leadership and management of the Ward People's Committee and the support of the Fatherland Front Committee in the work of building the government. Besides the achievements, the session also frankly pointed out limitations and difficulties that need to be addressed.
A key highlight of this session was its strategic nature and long-term vision. For the first time in the new term, the Ward People's Council discussed and unanimously approved a Resolution on the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030. This serves as a guiding principle for the long-term breakthrough of the locality.
Simultaneously, to meet the practical requirements of streamlining the administrative apparatus and improving management efficiency, the People's Council of Dong Ngac Ward passed a Resolution on the Plan for reorganizing residential groups and arranging the use and policies for part-time officials in the area. Resolutions on tasks for the last six months of 2026 and the establishment of a specialized monitoring team were also approved with a high rate of consensus.
Upholding its supreme oversight role, the questioning session at the meeting took place in a democratic, frank, and responsible atmosphere. The ward People's Council representatives conducted in-depth questioning on solutions to address bottlenecks in state management in the two areas of compensation and land clearance, and environmental sanitation.
In response to the legitimate requests of voters, the leaders of the ward People's Committee and specialized agencies have demonstrated a receptive and serious attitude, seriously considering and making specific commitments to definitively resolve existing problems and limitations, thereby strengthening public trust.
To ensure that the resolutions of the Dong Ngac Ward People's Council are implemented effectively and efficiently, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Dong Ngac Ward People's Council, Ngo Van Nam, requested the Ward People's Committee to promptly develop specific action plans and programs, manage decisively, and utilize resources effectively. At the same time, the committees and representatives of the Dong Ngac Ward People's Council should continue to uphold a high sense of responsibility, closely monitor the implementation of commitments made after questioning sessions, and maintain close contact to promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters.
In addition, the People's Committee of Dong Ngac Ward is urgently developing specific plans and action programs; focusing on decisive direction and management, mobilizing and effectively utilizing resources to successfully implement the goals and tasks decided by the Ward People's Council.
Furthermore, the People's Council Committees and People's Council representatives of Dong Ngac ward continue to uphold their roles and responsibilities in supervisory activities; regularly monitor the implementation of the People's Council's resolutions and commitments made after questioning sessions; actively maintain contact with constituents, and promptly reflect the legitimate concerns and aspirations of the people so that the People's Council can consider and propose solutions appropriate to the practical situation.
