On November 20, the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon announced that it had used drones, artillery shells, and missiles to attack Israeli military positions in the north of the country.
Specifically, Hezbollah forces launched "three waves of UAV attacks" targeting Israeli soldiers in the town of Kiryat Shmona. Prior to this, the area had also been subjected to heavy artillery fire from Lebanese territory, all of which reportedly hit their targets.

In addition, Hezbollah claimed to have launched a series of "Burkan missiles" into northern Israel, asserting that some had hit their targets. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later reported detecting three attack drones near an outpost, but there were no reports of casualties.

The IDF statement said: “There were 25 attacks from the Lebanese side toward several positions near the border” with Israel, and air defenses intercepted some of the projectiles, while the rest fell into open ground.

In response, the IDF deployed tanks, fighter jets, and helicopters to fire on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, particularly those suspected of being anti-tank missile deployment sites in southern Beirut.
