Following their 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg on April 30th, PSG continued their winning streak with a convincing 2-1 victory in the second leg at the Parc des Princes on May 8th, becoming the next team to advance to the Champions League final where they will face Inter Milan.

After the match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insisted his team was far superior to PSG and deserved a better result. This statement from the Spanish strategist quickly attracted media attention.
Coach Enrique immediately responded: "I completely disagree. Mikel Arteta is a very good coach, but I don't agree with that. I think Arsenal played intelligently and steered the game towards the scenario they wanted, the kind of football they love."
"But considering both legs, we scored more goals, and in football, that's what matters most," coach Enrique said in an interview on May 8th.
Arsenal is the fourth Premier League team to suffer a defeat against PSG this season, after Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa. Their perfect record against opponents from the world's most exciting league has given the French side more confidence heading into the final.
"The opponents from England gave us a lot of trouble, but PSG beat them all. Arsenal came to Paris to win and we understood that, so we planned ahead and prevented that. In the first half, they turned the game in their favor and put a lot of pressure on PSG's goal."
"I think this was our toughest match of the season, but surely, you and everyone else can see that PSG deserved to be in the final. We truly deserved that ticket. In the two legs, we scored more goals than them and that's the most important thing in football," said coach Enrique.

PSG are on the verge of winning a treble this season. They secured the Ligue 1 title early last week, and their remaining task is to defeat Reims in the French Cup final on May 24th.
A week later, coach Enrique and his team need to overcome Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Munich (Germany) on June 1st to make history of their own.
