Coach Nguyen Viet Thang and Technical Director Le Phuoc Tu will be attending a Pro Coaching Certificate course in Japan from June 29th to July 21st. Therefore, the two former national team players will not be able to directly lead Ninh Binh in preparation for the 2025/26 V.League season.
During this period, assistant coach Truong Dinh Luat will temporarily assume the role of interim head coach of the team. With extensive experience both as a player and on the coaching bench, Mr. Luat is expected to help the team from the ancient capital maintain stability and create a solid foundation for their first season in the V.League after many years of absence.
Alongside training, Ninh Binh is also actively strengthening its squad. On the coaching bench, the leadership of the team from the ancient capital is actively seeking high-quality foreign experts. These experts may come from Europe.
In addition, the First Division champions are also looking for quality foreign and domestic players to complete their squad. Regarding domestic players, a number of players who have previously played for the national team and the Vietnam U23 team, such as Chau Ngoc Quang, Dung Quang Nho, Tran Bao Toan of HAGL and Nguyen Duc Chien of The Cong Viettel, are said to have reached preliminary agreements to play for Ninh Binh in the 2025/26 season.
According to the plan, Ninh Binh will assemble in early July to officially begin their training phase. The team, featuring Hoang Duc and Van Lam, shows great ambition in their return to the V.League, not only through their coaching staff but also through notable signings.
