Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3 and heavy rains following the storm, many areas in the province were deeply flooded, causing damage to people's property and crops. In the Nhong rice field (Gò Giang) in areas 12 and 13 of Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district, water overflowed from many areas, flooding more than 22 hectares of rice that were almost ready for harvest.
Ripe rice is submerged in water, and if not harvested in time, there is a risk of total loss. Following the motto "Better to harvest while the rice is still green than to let it wither," to quickly mitigate the consequences and minimize damage caused by the floods, in recent days, local authorities, youth union members, and farmers' associations have been harvesting, threshing, and transporting rice home for over 100 households.

Youth union members assisted local people in transporting rice.
Despite the water level reaching chest height in the fields, the forces still made efforts to move into deeper areas to harvest and transport the rice to the shore. The timely intervention and joint efforts of various forces and organizations to help people in difficult circumstances will contribute to minimizing damage caused by floods after typhoon No. 3, creating conditions for people to quickly stabilize their lives and production.
