Miss Vietnam Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, runner-up Tuong San, and other beauties were captivated by the handcrafted crocheted dresses and tops made from wool fabric in designer Huy Tran's "Holiday24" collection.

Designer Huy Tran has just launched his Holiday24 collection, featuring creative garments crafted from classic wool fabrics. The five designs boast different silhouettes, incorporating intricate material processing techniques and color blending.

One of the designs worn by Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen at an event after her coronation. The design, in a light purple tone, is handcrafted using crochet with accents on the shoulders, waist, and skirt.

Even though the dress was "modest," it still allowed the beauty queen to show off her striking figure and slender legs when paired with knee-high boots.

Crochet knitting is a familiar and popular fashion trend that has been around for many years. This knitting style creates a free-spirited image, suggesting versatile variations in color, design, and style that are both charming and cheerful.

Miss World Vietnam 2018 runner-up Tuong San stood out in a crocheted dress with raised patterns. The design blended East Asian aesthetics with modern colors, creating a visually stunning effect. The dress offered comfort and a sensual look, making it especially ideal for summer parties.

According to Huy Tran, he initially experimented with dress designs as he searched for his own direction in ready-to-wear fashion. The designer pursues a mission to celebrate the diversity of femininity, where each body type is uniquely portrayed when wearing his designs.

Tuong San wore a different dress in a mysterious black tone mixed with lace material.

“The most special aspect of this collection comes from the meticulous material processing that no machine can replicate. Each design is a different knitting inspiration of mine at the time of creation, so each finished product will be a unique individual,” he shared.

These seemingly familiar materials are transformed into unconventional dress designs that are highly practical and on-trend.

Huyen Nguyen paired the outfit with a handbag, white boots, and jewelry, creating a stylish and sophisticated look.

The five designs, each with a different silhouette, symbolize five aspects of feminine beauty: power, sensuality, gentleness, individuality, and fragility.

Huy Tran has been active since 2011. Many Vietnamese artists favor his designs, including Thanh Hang, Ho Ngoc Ha, Minh Hang, Toc Tien, and Le Hang… After 13 years of activity, the designer has launched many collections, making a positive contribution to the Vietnamese fashion industry.
