During the 2025 Lunar New Year season, the Vietnamese film market witnessed a "competition" between beauties such as Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen (Miss Universe Vietnam 2024), Doan Thien An (Miss Grand Vietnam 2022), and Tran Tieu Vy (Miss Vietnam 2018) in a series of film projects like "The Four Contresses" and "The Billion-Dollar Kiss ." Despite some limitations in acting, the appearance of these beauty queens and runners-up undeniably breathed new life into the film industry. When sharing her career aspirations, Miss Tran Tieu Vy once said that acting is a long-term path she wants to pursue. She said: "I envision in my mind that one day the audience will call me an actress."

Meanwhile, many beauty queens, possessing advantages in appearance and good speaking skills, choose careers as MCs or editors for long-term development. Audiences can see that besides modeling, Miss H'Hen Niê has also tried her hand at hosting the VTV Awards. Miss Luong Thuy Linh is considered to be increasingly improving, taking on the role of connector at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, WeChoice Awards 2024… Having matured since the Miss Vietnam 2016 competition, runner-up Thuy Dung has developed herself as a bilingual MC, participating in many popular programs and events.

After making her mark in national and international beauty pageants, runner-up Kieu Loan surprised everyone by venturing into singing. She released several songs such as "I Don't Know Whether I Like or Love You" and "Can You Forget Me? ". Besides Kieu Loan, the music market also witnessed the "arrival" of runner-up Ngoc Hang.

Not limited to the arts, many beauty queens have also developed themselves in the fields of education and business. Misses Luong Thuy Linh and Le Au Ngan Anh have accepted positions as lecturers and teaching assistants at universities. The titles of Miss and Runner-up are an advantage for young women when developing themselves in new fields. Miss H'Hen said that experiencing singing, acting, and hosting are ways for beauty queens to develop and create new opportunities for themselves. "When I do something, I invest seriously in it. For example, when acting, I have to limit personal activities to hone my acting and martial arts skills; or when participating in 'Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves ,' I chose to take singing and dancing lessons so I could appear on stage in the most polished way possible," she expressed.

Along with the advantages, beauty queens and runners-up also face many challenges when they "change direction." Among them, audience prejudice against "beauty queens going into acting" or "beauty queens going into singing" is unavoidable. As an organizer of beauty pageants, Ms. Pham Kim Dung believes that beauty queens always face high expectations from the audience. "I always guide beauty queens and runners-up to invest thoroughly and prepare well before trying their hand at a new role. Misses Thuy Tien, Luong Thuy Linh, Thien An, and Tieu Vy all underwent acting training before acting. Kieu Loan and Ngoc Hang took singing and dancing lessons before pursuing singing... They all went through casting rounds to find opportunities. And each time they receive a new film role, I almost never have the chance to meet them because they are always busy on set," businesswoman Pham Kim Dung revealed.

In her role as manager, Ms. Pham Kim Dung always encourages beauty queens to develop themselves in different fields, believing that each girl has her own strengths, and that diversifying is a way to maximize their existing potential and not let their title go to waste.
