After a long absence from the big screen, Hoài Linh is attracting attention with his return in a new film. Getting rich with ghosts, He starred alongside Tuan Tran and Diep Bao Ngoc. In the film, he played Mr. Dao, a Buddhist monk. Sharing about the filming process, the male artist said he encountered many difficulties, and even felt frustrated at times because the director made him reshoot scenes many times.

“The character of Mr. Dao in the film is a loving father, hardworking and especially passionate about his profession. The character works as a funeral attendant, or in Central Vietnam, as they call it, a funeral service. I had a lot of experience playing this role because I had been helping people with embalming since I was 14 or 15 years old,” Hoai Linh recounted.

He further shared: “I have worked with director Trung Lùn for a long time, so that is also an advantage. However, there are some very difficult scenes in the film, scenes without dialogue that require acting through facial expressions and eye movements. Trung Lùn is a perfectionist, so sometimes I get very frustrated because I have to redo things over and over again. When the audience watches the film, that moment might be 5-7 seconds, 30 seconds, but in reality, filming can take 4-5 hours, or even a whole day.”

The male artist shared Getting rich with ghosts This film is where he was "beaten up" the most. Besides the scene where he carried Tuan Tran, Hoai Linh was also impressed by the scene where they carried a coffin to be buried. He felt sorry for the entire cast, including adults and children, who had to carry the coffin from morning until noon.
