Le Trung Kien High School (Dong Hoa ward) suffered heavy damage after the flood.

Specifically, 33 school fences/gates were damaged; many classrooms had their roofs blown off and were leaking; 1,654 sets of desks and chairs and 176 sets of computers were damaged due to flooding and breakage...

The industry also recorded damage to textbooks, notebooks, school supplies, school bags, blue pants and white shirts of students (estimated at about 2 billion VND)...

To ensure facilities, reopen schools soon after the flood and allow students to return to school, the Education sector has proposed supporting nearly 17.3 billion VND for educational institutions in the area.

Currently, the water is gradually receding, educational institutions have proactively coordinated with functional forces to clean and check school facilities to welcome students back to school soon.
