Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the Government's support capital for Lam Dong to date is 500 billion VND. Localities urgently review the damage caused by floods, in the immediate future, prioritizing support for housing damage as directed by the Prime Minister.
“Localities must urgently review and report fully and accurately the damage to people's housing. The Department of Construction, based on the actual situation, will study the model and prescribed criteria, and guide localities to provide timely support,” Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to promptly guide the affected communes and wards to complete their dossiers. On this basis, the Department of Finance shall promptly allocate support funds in the spirit of openness, transparency, to the right people and the right addresses.

As for damage to traffic infrastructure, as soon as funding is allocated, localities focus on getting started immediately.
The Department of Construction sends specialized staff to guide localities to review, appraise, evaluate the current situation, and complete all related documents and procedures.
As soon as possible, departments, branches and localities must coordinate to quickly overcome damage caused by floods.

The Provincial People's Committee Office promptly informs superiors of the direction for localities to focus on overcoming and handling damage after floods. In areas with heavy damage, forces will be concentrated on the grassroots to support and promptly remedy the damage.
“We must go ahead, do it first and finish first all the contents that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed. To do so, all departments, branches and localities must join in with determination and resolute implementation,” the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee directed.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Finance Ton Thien San emphasized that today, the unit will try to distribute the categories and localities that need support in a synchronous manner.
The Department of Finance will focus on assigning specialized departments to quickly complete procedures to arrange funding. For communes and wards, carefully and accurately review the damage so that the Department of Finance can allocate support funding in a timely manner.
Up to this point, the Government has provided Lam Dong with emergency aid of 500 billion VND and more than 1,000 tons of rice to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
