The cooking competition "Warm and Loving Family Meal" took place enthusiastically with the participation of 13 exemplary cultural families from various communes and wards, representing different ethnic groups in the province.

Thirteen families presented thirteen unique meals featuring nearly 70 dishes prepared from familiar local ingredients such as wild vegetables, stream fish, smoked meat, and various produce harvested from their fields and gardens. Under the skillful hands of the family members, each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, conveying meaningful messages about family love.

The competition not only creates a vibrant space for cultural and culinary exchange but also provides an opportunity for families to share cooking experiences, contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional culinary values of various ethnic groups. Through this, it raises awareness of the role and significance of family meals in modern life. At the same time, it strengthens the bonds and solidarity among ethnic groups, working together to build prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy families.

At the 25th anniversary celebration of Vietnam Family Day in Lam Dong province, 17 exemplary cultural families were honored for their contributions to building prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy families; and for being exemplary leaders in emulation movements in residential areas.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized that the honored families are exemplary role models in ethics and lifestyle; overcoming difficulties to rise in life; preserving family traditions; building harmonious and happy multi-generational families; raising well-behaved and academically successful children; and actively contributing to the community.

To further reduce domestic violence and provide timely support to victims, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc suggested that all levels and sectors continue to effectively implement family-related work and the prevention and control of domestic violence; strengthen propaganda and raise awareness, especially in remote areas, contributing to building prosperous, equal, progressive, happy, and civilized families.

At the same time, the Steering Committees for Family Affairs in communes, wards, and special zones should continue to research, replicate, and maintain models for preventing and combating domestic violence that are suitable to the actual conditions of their localities. Through this, they should promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals who have made significant positive contributions to family affairs and the prevention and combating of domestic violence at the grassroots level.
