Hai Phong City: 300-500 medical staff ready to support Dak Lak

Hai Phong presented support (phase 2) including 40 billion VND in cash; many types of medicine and medical supplies worth 2 billion VND to Dak Lak province, to provide emergency relief to people and handle some urgent issues.

Immediately after landing at Tuy Hoa airport ( Dak Lak ) on the afternoon of November 23, the delegation of Hai Phong City leaders led by Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung visited, encouraged and gave money and gifts to support people in Dak Lak province to overcome the consequences of floods.

On behalf of Hai Phong City leaders, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung presented 40 billion VND in cash; many types of medicine and medical supplies worth 2 billion VND to Dak Lak province to help the locality provide emergency relief to people and handle some urgent issues.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan said that the flood has caused heavy damage to people and property in the province. Currently, many areas are still deeply flooded, making people's lives very difficult.

Hai Phong Department of Health held a meeting on support and assistance for flood-affected localities.

Here, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung requested the city's departments and branches to synthesize the difficulties and proposals of Dak Lak province to build a support plan for each field. In the immediate future, immediately build a plan to coordinate goods, support Dak Lak province in health care, environmental pollution treatment, support people to stabilize their lives, and reproduce...

Regarding clean water treatment, Director of Hai Phong Department of Health Le Minh Quang said that he has directed the transportation of 2.5 tons of Chloramine and 400,000 Aquatabs water disinfectant tablets to Dak Lak, helping the province treat about 80,000m3 ^of clean water.

Some necessary medicines were transferred by Hai Phong Department of Health to Dak Lak province.

Along with that, about 300-500 medical staff and medical workers of Hai Phong are ready to support Dak Lak at any time. Up to this point, Hai Phong City has supported Dak Lak province with 50 billion VND in cash and many necessary necessities and medicines to help people cope with the floods.
