Tuy An Nam allocated 80 tons of government rice to support people affected by floods.

On November 23, Tuy An Nam Commune People's Committee organized the allocation of 80 tons of rice supported by the Government to promptly distribute to households facing difficulties after the recent prolonged floods.

Accordingly, the whole commune has 2,131 households with 4,604 people eligible to receive rice in this period. The support is implemented based on the level of damage and actual circumstances of each household. Specifically, 3,986 people are supported with rice for 1 month (15 kg/person); 504 people are supported for 2 months (30 kg/person); 113 people are supported for 3 months (45 kg/person).

People are happy to receive rice support from the Government .

Chairman of Tuy An Nam Commune People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang said: The locality has mobilized cadres, unions and villages to coordinate in posting the list, carefully reviewing to ensure the distribution of rice to the right subjects, publicly and transparently. We prioritize households with heavy damage, poor households, near-poor households, the elderly, the weak, the lonely, and those with policies. All the rice will be distributed to people on the same day so that people can soon stabilize their lives after the flood."
