
On the evening of November 25th, at the Army Theater ( Ho Chi Minh City), the 24th Vietnam Film Festival concluded after five days of vibrant events, ending with the announcement and awarding of prizes to the most outstanding works and artists of Vietnamese cinema over the past two years.
With the theme "Vietnamese Cinema - Sustainable Development and International Integration in the New Era," this year's festival brings together many activities including exchanges, seminars, film screenings, and connections between artists, the public, managers, and businesses.
The event is also particularly significant as Ho Chi Minh City has just been recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City in the field of cinema.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Golden Lotus Award to the film "Red Rain" - a work produced by the People's Army Film Studio. The Silver Lotus Award was given to the works "Tunnels - The Sun in the Darkness" (Hoan Khue Film Production Joint Stock Company); "Battle in the Air" (Thien Ngan Film Joint Stock Company) and "Sister-in-law" (Live On One-Member Limited Liability Company).
In addition, the Jury also awarded prizes to the works Mai (Hoan Khue Film Production JSC); Abandoning Mother (Sidus and Teu Entertainment JSC) and Detective Kien: The Headless Case (Thien Ngan Film JSC).

Outstanding individual awards include: Best Actress awarded to Phuong Anh Dao (for her role as Mai in the film of the same name); Best Actor awarded to Tuan Tran (for the film "Bringing Mother Abandoning"); Best Supporting Actress awarded to Hong Dao (for the film "Mai"); Best Supporting Actor awarded to Phuong Nam (for his role as Ta in the film "Red Rain"); Best First-Time Director awarded to Thu Trang ("Billion-Dollar Kiss"); Best Director of a Feature Film awarded to Ham Tran ("Battle in the Air")...

At the closing ceremony, Minister Nguyen Van Hung presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who have made special contributions to the development and promotion of Vietnamese cinema, including CJ CGV Vietnam, Thien Ngan Film Joint Stock Company, and Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of the Vietnam Film Development Promotion Association.

The 24th Vietnam Film Festival was praised for its many innovations and vibrant professional atmosphere, clearly reflecting the vitality of Vietnamese cinema in the era of integration. The works honored at the closing ceremony further affirmed the creative capacity and prowess of Vietnamese artists on the path to building a modern, distinctive film industry.
