Regardless of the long distance, in recent days, hundreds of officers and soldiers of Division 315 have marched hundreds of kilometers from Da Nang to Hoa Thinh commune (Dak Lak) to share difficulties with people in the most dangerous places.

Witnessing the devastation after the flood, Corporal Mang Binh (Regiment 143, Division 315) shared: “When I arrived, I felt so sorry for the people. Many families had nothing left, rice, their biggest asset, was now moldy and sprouting green... I can only do my best to help ease the pain of the people.”
At Nguyen Viet Xuan Secondary and High School (Tuy An Tay Commune), mud flooded the classrooms. Literature teacher Vo Thi Minh Ha could not hide her emotion when she saw the young soldiers of Division 2 covered in mud: "The flood rose quickly and unexpectedly, so most of the equipment, tables, chairs, books... were soaked with water. In the past few days, thanks to the army, the difficult tasks have been basically completed. With this enthusiastic help, I think the students will soon return to school in the next few days."

With one heart toward the flood center, officers and soldiers of the Dak Lak Border Guard have been on duty for many days, actively present in all dangerous areas of communes and wards. According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van An, Deputy Head of the Professional Department of the Provincial Border Guard Command, nearly 400 officers and soldiers have been mobilized to directly participate in rescue work day and night under the direction of superiors.

During many days of heavy rain and floods, the soldiers faced a situation of no electricity, no phone signal, and communication mainly through walkie-talkies. In areas such as O Loan, Tuy An Dong, and Tuy An Nam communes, many places were flooded 3-4 meters deep, and the water level rose for many days, making access and rescue extremely difficult, but the border guards still devoted themselves to the safety and lives of the people.
Not only in the eastern communes, in the western part of the province, hundreds of military officers and soldiers and militiamen were also present at the hot spots of Yang Mao, Cu Pui, Vu Bon, Krong A, Ea O... For nearly a week, since there were signs of landslides, floods, rising and receding floodwaters..., they were all present, not afraid of danger or hardship.

Directly commanding the forces at key points, Colonel Le Van Tam, Commander of the Defense Command of Region 4 - M'Drắk shared: "When the floodwaters have receded, officers and soldiers will continue to clean up the environment, houses, especially schools. This is the top priority so that students can return to school soon and people can stabilize their lives soon."
Also on November 24, immediately after the flood receded, officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Area 5 - Dray Bhang continued to be present, quickly deploying forces to support people in Hoa Son and Krong Ana communes to transport furniture and household items back home and stabilize their living space.
They also coordinated with local organizations to clean up the environment in Village 1 and Village 2, Hoa Son Commune. The main roads were actively cleared by the green-shirt soldiers, mud and garbage were collected, ensuring traffic safety and contributing to disease prevention after the flood.

Towards the flood victims of Dak Lak province, as of November 24, Military Region 5 has deployed forces to coordinate with agencies, units and localities to repair 183 houses, 48 schools; 8 cultural houses, 5 public works; 5 medical stations; 5 cemeteries, relic sites affected by floods and landslides; helped 660 households clean up and tidy up their houses; repaired 4 km of landslides on traffic roads; sprayed disinfectant on 63,000 m2 of 9 schools in Hoa Thinh and Phu Hoa communes.
Military Region 5 also supported the people of Dak Lak province who suffered from flood damage with 12,000 tulle curtains; 12,000 sets of clothes; 20 tons of rice; 14 tons of dry food; 5 tons of food; 2,200 gifts. The Da Nang City Military Command supported the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command with 7,000 tulle curtains and 6,520 sets of clothes.
