At the relief goods gathering point at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 200 volunteers are busy sorting, packing and loading goods onto vehicles.

The buses carry the love and sympathy of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City to the people of the South Central provinces who are being heavily affected by floods.

Visiting and witnessing the focused working atmosphere, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed his deep gratitude to the union members, youth, cadres, soldiers of armed forces units, and people who worked day and night, joining hands with the city to carry out the noble humanitarian mission.
Sharing with the volunteers, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc emotionally said that the city's relief team had just returned from the South Central provinces. The team witnessed firsthand the hardships and losses that people in the flood-affected areas are having to endure.

Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, the volunteers immediately began working day and night, racing against time to arrange and transport goods to the flood victims in time. An extremely beautiful and touching image.

"This solidarity and unity is a clear demonstration, adding to the sacred national love and solidarity in times of trouble," comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed.

After the encouragement and starting command from the city leaders, the trucks loaded with goods, medicine and necessities rolled out, carrying the warmth and heart of Ho Chi Minh City, heading through the night towards the Central region.
In recent days, the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee has set up 18 points to receive goods with the participation of more than 1,200 volunteers. At 168 headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes, wards and special zones, support for flood victims has also been received with the participation of thousands of volunteers.
