Tay Ninh economic development in harmony with social security

(SGGP).- On November 24, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the Central working delegation had a working session with leaders of Tay Ninh province on the socio-economic development situation, public investment implementation, national target programs and organization of two-level local government.

At the meeting, the leaders of Tay Ninh province proposed that the Government soon assign a medium-term public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period, including investment capital for projects related to climate change response. At the same time, they recommended that the Government have policies to support training and retain qualified commune-level officials with expertise in the fields of digital transformation and information technology...

Concluding the working session, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh asked Tay Ninh province to focus on completing socio -economic development goals for 2025, maintaining growth momentum, creating a premise for a new development stage.

Regarding public investment, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the province to disburse 100% of the capital plan, in which it is necessary to do well in investment preparation, avoid spreading, and prioritize key projects with spillover effects.

Regarding the operation of two-level local government, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Tay Ninh strengthen training, fostering, and arranging competent staff; invest in equipment, and promote the application of digital transformation in management activities and provision of public services to the commune level.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Tay Ninh province to continue effectively implementing the Politburo's resolutions, including developing science and technology and digital economy; improving the quality of the investment environment, attracting businesses into high-tech, green economy, and circular economy; ensuring harmony between economic growth and social security and environmental protection.

Earlier, on the same morning, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected and checked the progress of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Tay Ninh. The Deputy Prime Minister requested Tay Ninh province to closely coordinate with contractors to continue to overcome difficulties, deploy construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to speed up progress, strive to complete the goal of opening the expressway section to traffic on December 19 and opening the entire route to traffic in March 2026.
