Ho Chi Minh City to auction land plots in Thu Thiem New Urban Area

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DARD) to preside over and direct the Land Fund Development Center to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to develop a detailed auction plan to report to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for consideration and comments on the policy of organizing the auction in 2026 for land lots in the Thu Thiem New Urban Area. Accordingly, the land lots that have completed surrounding traffic connections, land lots that have completed site clearance compensation, are eligible to conduct land use rights auctions. The land lots to be auctioned include: Land lots 3-8, 3-9, 3-12 in Functional Area No. 3; Land lots 7-1, 7-17 in Functional Area No. 7; Land lots 1-12 in Functional Area No. 1; Land lots 4-21 in Functional Area No. 4.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed the People's Committee of An Khanh Ward and the City Urban Development Management Board to urgently complete compensation and site clearance for land lot 1-20 so that the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Land Fund Development Center have a basis to propose an auction plan according to regulations.

The Department of Finance is assigned to make a list of investment calls and conduct bidding for projects using land for land lots in the Sports and Entertainment Complex in Functional Area No. 2c and 3 land lots (8-1, 8-2, 8-3) in the Ecological Forest Park project.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the An Khanh Ward People's Committee and the City Urban Development Management Board to complete the construction of technical infrastructure and report to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the investment method for 2 land lots (3-17 in Functional Area No. 3 and 5-3 in Functional Area No. 5).
